13thJuly08 @ 6.00pm - bawa Irfan gi IJN, Irfan was admitted to paediatric ward.. since no single/ double room available so duduk la kat 6 bed ward. Kesian sgt bila tgk babies and young kids kat ward tu.. mostly jantung berlubang and have been there for quite some times. Then, rasa bersyukur sgt sebab keadaan Irfan yg jauh lebih baik dari anak2 dekat wad tu. Irfan pulak lepas Dr check, kena ambil darah and masukkan water drip, Irfan kena puasa start kul 4am till the procedure is done.Malamnya mummy tido dgn Irfan atas katil hospital tu..
14thJuly08@ 9.30am- bawa Irfan gi Operation Theater, Irfan was unconcious lepas diberi general anaesthetic and was carry into the OT around 10am, and mummy has to wait outside and was told that Irfan will be out after 45 minits - 1 hour. Tapi tunggu punya tunggu, jam 12pm baru Irfan keluar, before that mummy dah risau sket sb kata 1 jam jer. Alhamdulillah, lepas ~2 hous Irfan selamat menjalani Catheher procedure.
Balik jer ke wad, nurse inform ada ward double room available, so ptg nya lepas Irfan dah tido, we move to the new room. Supposedly Irfan's heart to be monitor tapi Irfan sibuk main lah plak... mcm takda apa2, until tgh mlm dah tido baru ler nurse boleh connect Irfan to the monitoring device.
15thJuly2008 - Irfan was discharged.
The surgeon came and deliberate on the Irfan condition. The x-ray image shows that there is a coil inside Irfan's heart... and becoming part of his flesh and blood. Alhamdullillah...Irfan is in good health now, and the follow up will only after the next 6 month.

Our flight is at 11am... so dlm jam 8 check out from hotel. At first ingat nak ambil cab to the MTR station then naik Airport Express train. However driver cab yg dah sedia tunggu luar lobby hotel try to convince us to take the cab direct to airport by explaining price comparison and said total cost to airpor dgn taxi HK$200 jer compared to airport express cost of HK$70 per person. Kitaorg agree because hujan pun renyai2 pg tu, plus malas nak ngangkut beg and nyusahkan diri lagi. Sampai jer airport around 9.30am, salah terminal plak so the taxi driver make another turn and send us to the right terminal and charged us HK$200 even the taxi meter shows HK$240. Tapi, papa baik hati so papa bayar HK$240 gak... thats why mummy loves papa... tak berkira sgt bab2 $$ ni ... lg sayang kalau papa byr semua mummy nyer maintenance and all other expenses etc... which is mummy's big dream.... hahhahahhaha 
Jumpa family Faqih yg dah sampai airport, Lepas check in luggage, gi breakfast at Popeye's inside the other Terminal, then last minute shopping at the airport.

One thing that definitely great about Hong Kong is its public transportation system which is very convenient and efficient not like our Kuala Lumpur. In fact, from the airport terminal to the airplane, ada bas/tram that pick us... tak perlu la jln jauh like at our LCCT... hmmm Malaysia should learn more from Hong Kong if to improve our public transportation system & services.

Hong Kong Trip - day 2
|
|
We start off the day with 1/2 day city tour which includes the journey from our hotel at New Territory to Hong Kong Island & Kowloon.
The tour guide drop us at around 11.30am. After having our lunch, we did some window shopping. And after Zohor prayer at Kowloon mosque we took a train to HK Island. From the last station, menapak to Peak Tram station which quite a distance... a tiring walk especially when mummy need to carry Irfan since Irfan just wants mummy. Long queue for the tram and luckily there's always a seat in the tram for a mom carrying a child 
We visit Madamme Tassauds before going up to the Sky Terrace. Unfortunately after few snaps inside Madamme Tassauds, the camera run out of battery. So just took pics using our handphone.. such a waste. Camera hp pun jadi lah...walaupun gambar tak clear (esp. hp papa yg canggih tapi produce gambar buruk... hehehehe)

Hong Kong Trip -day 1

Irfan going to Hong Kong....
Even baru baik demam and being diagnosed with pda, we still continue with our long planned trip.. but everything is last minute.. in fact, mummy started and finished packing that night around 2am... then at 5am dah betolak gi airport since flight at 7am. After ~ 4 hours journey, Hong Kong here we are....
Masa sampai HK airport... mummy dah start sakit kepala... lepak at the airport, diapers change for Irfan.. and look for related information/ guidelines for tourist... around 1.30 pm baru keluar dari airport and nak cari transport to our hotel. To our surprise, ada tourist guide waiting for us with our names' sign... and he has been waiting for 2 hours... hahahahahah

Actually we took a holiday package with 1/2 day city tour and 1 way airport transfer... tapi sb tak sure on the arrangement, so buat pandai2 sendiri ler... otw to hotel, while the tourist guide brief on HK, mummy dah masuk tahap migrain fasa tinggi...
Check-in jer hotel, mummy terus flat... Irfan pun penat and tido after that... Only papa keluar jln2 sekitar hotel and cari prepaid starter pack. Mlm nya baru ler kuar jln2...tapi mls pulak nak gi Kowloon cari mkn, so merewang kat shopping complex near the hotel jer.

Irfan demam sket lps kena inject few days ago (the 12th month immunisation), but he is recovering. Mummy & Makngah bawa Irfan to SJMC just nak ambil ubat coz Irfan mcm lebih serasi dgn ubat SJMC. So pegi SJMC around 8++pm, and unfortunately Doctor decide Irfan kena masuk ward, kena ambil darah & tambah air (drip). Around 11pm barulah masuk ward, after settled the admission prosess.
It's very difficult for Doctor to do the check up, Irfan dah start nangis belum sempat doctor nak check. Bila nurse masuk jer bilik, Irfan dah meraung....  so mummy ler yg terpaksa buat kerja nurse... 
On the 2nd day, kebetulan Irfan tido nyenyak masa doctor dtg, so sempat ler doctor do a proper checkup. Ingatkan boleh ler balik rumah ptg nya, tapi, doctor bgtau that he heard some irregularities with Irfan's heart and suggested Irfan to undergo ECG to check further, but said nothing to worry about. Hmmm... nothing to worry about ??!!! ... nasib ler mummy ni positive minded, so takder la risau selagi tak tahu apa masalah sebenar.. deep inside, mummy still prays and hopes that there is nothing serious with Irfan.
Petangnya, lepas Irfan diberi sedatif, baru ler boleh buat ECG, itu pun boleh bangun2 masa tgh buat ECG. The finding, there is an abnormalities with Irfan's heart which call PDA - Patent Ductus Arteriosus, however it is not a serious congenital heart defect... fuhhh... worry and relief at the same time. Anyway, the Doctor still proposed Irfan to undergo a procedure to close the PDA, and Irfan will be refer to IJN for further checkup and treatment.
On the 3rd day noon, Irfan was discharged from SJMC. Welcome home boy. 
Setiap yg berlaku pasti ada hikmah nya...

Just a simple birthday party for our little boy.. makan2 dgn family je to celebrate the eventful day of our little boy. After all, don't think Irfan understand what's b'day party is all about yet...
